SAMGAS ROMANIA S.R.L. was established in 1993, as a joint venture, with private capital.
The unit consists of a Gf+2 building, built between 1994-1995, which includes a production hall, storage of raw materials and materials, warehouses of finished products, an air-conditioned metrological test room, offices, locker rooms, dining room , total built area 1,800 sqm.

In terms of technology, the company has fully benefited from the Italian know-how SAMGAS MILANO, with 65 years of experience in the field. The projected capacity was 100,000 volumetric meters with membrane per year. The metrological verification is performed individually on each product, in a laboratory authorized by the State Metrology, premises with constant temperature and humidity, state-of-the-art stands.

We have a long experience in the field of metering (SAMGAS ITALIA founded in 1947). Among the advantages we offer, compared to other domestic producers, we mention:

• Experience of operating in severe environmental conditions (especially extremely low temperatures), in republics that belonged to the Soviet Union. Operating under the regular conditions in ROMANIA since 1993, with over 600,000 meters installed
• Repair costs are low (the meters are designed so that they can be completely dismantled, so that defects, caused by incorrect handling, pressure or flow overloads, deposits of impurities in the gas are remedied only by replacing the defective component, without it will be necessary to change the whole measuring group).

From the beginning, SAMGAS has offered complete advice to customers in the field of gas use installations, the customer being quickly guided even by a telephone call to the optimal solution, including a commercial offer for a wide range of products: control stations measuring, regulators, filters, gas slots, mounting accessories, high flow meters, turbine meters and rotary piston meters, volume correctors, gas leak detectors, domestic and industrial.

A strong point in our activity, with which we attract many clients, is the service and metrology activity.

SAMGAS provides technical assistance, service and metrological checks for all models of meters up to 400 m3 / h and for T and PTZ volume correctors, independent of the manufacturer.

We have also concluded a collaboration protocol with a laboratory in Hungary based on which we provide metrological verification of meters up to 4000 m3 / h.
Our laboratory is designed for a complete and precise testing, with low measurement uncertainty, in conditions of constant temperature and humidity, subject to the supervision of metrological inspectors and authorized by BRML BUCHAREST.

One area of data transmission, monitoring and management we offer the Pietro Fiorentini solution but we also developed our own solution with the Czech company GEOVAP.

In 2016 SAMGAS ROMANIA was acquired by Pietro Fiorentini, a successful Italian company, founded in 1940, with a continuous growth, reaching today 2400 employees with headquarters in 30 international locations (including 2 locations in China and two in the USA) and with a commercial presence in more than 100 countries around the world.

With the integration in the Pietro Fiorentini group, SAMGAS ROMANIA has expanded its product range, consolidating its position on the domestic market and registering a substantial increase in turnover.
