Turning waste into resource

Renewable gases are a fundamental element of the decarbonisation process of the energy system, and biomethane is only the first step. Biomethane is the product of the transformation of biogas produced from waste, by-products or sewage sludge, the environmental impact of which is minimised by their proper management, turning a problem into an energy resource. From the biogas produced, the contaminants and inerts that lower its calorific power are removed, turning it into biomethane. The renewable gas is now ready to be injected into the grid and used in exactly the same way as traditional natural gas.
