The device’s design with respect for future extensibility enables the customer an easy supplement of the device’s functions. In the case of the ELCORplus model, the device can be equipped with up to two RS232/RS485 serial interfaces, an internal modem (available variants for 2G/3G/4G/NB networks), an external modem, up to 12 digital inputs, analog inputs and outputs 4 – 20 mA, and the possibility to install an interface for connecting the NAMUR or SCR+ encoder.
Up to 6 digital pressure and temperature transducers can be connected to the device.
Thanks to its wide hardware options and flexible software features including basic telemetry, the ELCORplus is one of the most equipped and powerful volume correctors on the market.
The extended measuring ranges of the pressure transducer make it easier for the customer to order a proper corrector.
ELCORplus is also available in a version capable of measuring and operating in temperatures from -40 °C.
ELCORplus wireless connectivity enables the connection of two modems simultaneously (internal+external or 2x external). Internal modems are available for 2G, 3G, 4G Cat1, 4G Cat M1, and NB (NarrowBand) networks and can be used in ZONE 0 explosive environment.
All device communication interfaces are mutually independent.
The device includes an integral data logger with a large 16MB memory, allowing it to store measured data at hourly intervals for more than 10 years.
The device´s housing was designed to operate in harsh outdoor environments with certified IP66 protection.

ELCORlite
The new series of gas volume correctors in the group of ELCOR has been expanded with a new ELCORlite device. This corrector offers a powerful solution with a fixed configuration for commercial gas metering purposes.
The ELCORlite gas volume corrector is a meter designed to convert the volume of gas measured under operating conditions to the volume under basic conditions.
Information about the flowed amount of gas is read through the pulse outputs of the gas meter. The gas temperature and the gas pressure are measured by integrated transducers. The degree of gas compressibility is calculated by the instrument according to conventional methods or uses a constant value.
Device description
The ELCORlite is a single-channel gas volume converter powered by lithium batteries. Low-frequency pulse input is used to connect to the gas meter. The pressure measurement is provided by the latest type of digital pressure transducer ELGAS EDT 125, which can be installed in the device as an internal or external design. Very wide measuring ranges (eg 80 – 2000 kPa) make it easier for the user to use the device in various types of measurements. The temperature measurement is again realized by a product of our ELGAS company. it is a temperature transducer with the name EDT 124. It is a new digital transducer with a semiconductor sensing element.

The design of the device with regard to less future scalability allows the customer a quick acceptable solution, which can be supplemented by 2G or 4G modems.
Communication
The device includes an optional integrated modem, which is available in variants that support all currently available networks, including IoT “Internet of Things” Narrow Band (NB) networks. In the future, the modem can be replaced at the installation site with a type that supports new modern technologies.
The modem is powered by its own lithium battery, which, depending on the selected modem, allows the modem to operate for up to 20 years (in LTE-NB networks).
